Detox and Silent Retreat during SongKran, Thailand’s New Year Celebration

in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai, April 11 to 17, 2018

The retreat was amazing! Uriel and Blandine were amazing teachers and so knowledgeable! The Amaravati Ashram was beautiful! The energy was amazing; the people were fantastic. I got so much out of our retreat and am looking forward to applying it all to my everyday life and to improve my pure being.

Detox the body and mind and then dive into the silence of meditation and yoga.

In this 7-day retreat we will purify our body, mind and spirit as a unity, opening our spiritual eyes and our hearts so that we can see and feel the divine inside of our being and all around us.

The first three days of this retreat will be devoted to purifying our being through various detox methods. We’ll take herbs, follow a special healthy diet, and do a deep cleanse of the entire digestive track using ancient yogic methods. In this way, we’ll be removing toxins that have been residing in our intestines for many years.

On the third day we’ll begin a 4-day silent inner journey, in search of our true essence, our Highest Self, Atman. The cleansing facilitated by the detox will allow us to go much deeper into ourselves, to discover hidden depths of our being and to marvel at the realization that in our essence, we are, always have been and always will be, divine and sacred.

„If the doors of perception were cleansed, every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite“, said the great poet William Blake. Similarly, Tantra states that when we clean our perceptions we discover that all is divine in its essence.
We will practice meditation, Hatha yoga, the yoga of light and other ways of entering high, elevated states of consciousness. Through this retreat, we will create a space in which we can truly connect from the heart and soul.

Much of the practice of meditation and yoga in the second part of the retreat will be devoted to the awakening of the spiritual heart, the only gate to authentic self-knowledge.

“The polarity retreat was a great experience. The facilitators (Uriel, Blandine and Angela) are wonderful people, very competent in what they do and, most of all, clearly live the teachings – adding a lot of depth to the sessions. And it was as gentle as it was powerful. Highly recommended!”
