People who live life through the second chakra are lacking a center, and they live their lives around other people, be it their family, their leaders, their bosses, their idols. They search for meaning in orbiting others. People at this level are like satellites and they need an external center to give meaning to their lives.
They have a strong sexual urge, they live in fantasies all the time, and they find joy and peace only when their urges are fulfilled: the people of the second chakra.
Svadhisthana Chakra is the second center of force and lies 3-4 cm above the genital area. This center of force is responsible for the sexual energy and creativity.
When Svadhisthana Chakra is balanced, one can experience wellness, pleasure, abundance, and joy. An imbalance in this chakra may lead to emotional instability, sexual dysfunction, depression, fear of change, or addictions.

Now that we know very well why we should not waste our semen, we are faced with the question: how can this be accomplished? This is, of course, not a simple question, especially for a man who has never tried to refrain from ejaculating. Far from being mistaken as an impossible goal, the act of ejaculation can become a very well-controlled and voluntary action.
“Don’t pore your semen uselessly, don’t throw it like you are throwing something down from the sky, you will disturb the five fundamental bodily organs, wound the energy channels (meridians) and as a result you will cause all form of disease.” (Ishampo). This declaration reflects very much the Taoist view, which does not see the sexual energy as something dirty that we need to get rid of, but rather as a balancing, life giving force, that needs to be cherished in order to maintain the healthy functions of our organism.
